Badal was full of praise for Modi and Shah but now things gone a bit differently - Grewal

Ludhiana : 1 May 2015
BJP Kisan Morcha National Secretary Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal said that not a long while ago Punjab Chief Minister Sr. Prakash Singh Badal was full of praise for Hon'ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi led BJP Goverment in Delhi and Hon'ble National President BJP Shri Amit Shah but in the last few months things have gone a bit differently and the attitude of Shiromani Akali Dal have drastically changed towards there coilation partners in state as well as centre. Talking with the media persons here today, He said that Shiromani Akali Dal gets the benefit of cunning tactics adopted and executed perfectly by there Chief patron and Chief Minister of Punjab Sr Prakash Singh Badal. Arvind Khana was the on the receiving end of gains most likely to be business related whereas this was a purely a political victory for Sr Badal and Shiromani Akali Dal.

Question arises, why was this necessary ? Grewal explained, Sr Badal being a seasoned politician knew at some point of time Shiromani Akali Dal will have to push Bharatiya Janata Party leadership in centre as well as state to support them unconditionally or else you will end up on the receiving end of the communal violence between Sikhs and Hindus. This Communal Trump card has often worked for Sardar Badal in old days but won't be useful in present day circumstances until and unless Sr Prakash Singh Badal order his followers to create a state of unrest and make it look like communal hatred between the two peace loving communities. People from all over India reside in Punjab they belong to diffrent religions, cultures and they live in harmony and peace they don't have time to think about such situations.

Grewal said that a few days back Sardar Badal spoke at length about "Panth" which was nothing more of a warning to the goverment to act according to the wishes of Shiromani Akali Dal. He said that, I ask him where was he when Bikram Singh Majithia was dragged into the drug racket ? Even a small village kid knew who operates the drug business in punjab and to which party he is associated with. Often it is noted that whenever the elections are close Sr Badal usually comes up with his topics which are hardly concerned with bread and butter of poor like " Chandigarh saada hai asi laeke raha gey " (Chandigarh belongs to us and we shall have it). "Kaum nu bachao" one should ask there are sikhs representing Sikhs as well as all other religions and societies in all other parties. Sr Badal never ever discusses sophisticated issues like use of Drugs, Land and Media Mafia, Transport. Sr Badal even went to an extent he took a swipe at Prime Minister Shree Narendra Modi's " Mann ki Baat " saying i am here to discuss " Sachi baat and Karwi baat " but not once he mentioned the sorry state of Punjab youth of which is drowning in the sixth river of alcohol and drugs.
