SUKHMINDERPAL GREWAL GREETS PEOPLE ON EVE OF MAHAVIR JAYANTI.


Chandigarh, April 18: BJP Kisan Morcha's National Secretary Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal today felicitated the people of the State on the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti, the birthday of Lord Mahavira. In his message Grewal said that Lord Mahavira epitomised non-violence, sacrifice, renunciation, and compassion. He said that Lord Mahavira teachings have greater relevance today and would continue to act as a source of inspiration to the society, he added. BJP Leader called upon people to celebrate this festival collectively in a befitting manner, with a renewed resolve to follow the principles of truth and universal love as preached by Lord Mahavira.

Grewal Greets People On Birth Anniversary Of Dr BR Ambedkar

Chandigarh, April 13- National Secretary BJP Kisan Morcha from Punjab Advocate Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal today felicitated the people on the 125th birth anniversary of Bharat Rattan Baba Saheb Dr BR Ambedkar, the father of the Indian Constitution. In his message, the National Secretary said that everyone should be committed to realize the dreams of Dr. Ambedkar, who had a vision of great democratic India to ensure equality for all. He said that Dr. Ambedkar had always advocated democracy in every field, be it social, economic and political. Grewal said that for him social Justice meant maximum happiness to the maximum number of people. On this occasion Grewal appealed to the people to follow the path shown by Dr. Ambedkar and shun the parochial considerations of religion, caste, colour and creed to create a harmonious and egalitarian society in the country.

Grewal greets people on the eve of Baisakhi

Chandigarh, April 12: Punjab BJP Leader Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal today felicitates the people of the Punjab on the eve of Baisakhi. In his message Grewal said that this festival has a great significance for the farmers of Punjab as this day traditionally marks the beginning of harvest of Rabi crops, on a joyous note. Grewal said that this harvest festival is an occasion of thanksgiving to farmers and to acknowledge Punjabi farmers' contribution in making India self-sufficient on the front of food security in the country. Grewal further said that this festival has also a great religious significance for Sikhs as on this day  in the year 1699 at Sri Anandpur Sahib, Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji established Khalsa Panth,  a body of people dedicated to the principles of truth, justice, and equality, the basic principles of Sikh Religious faith. Grewal exhorted the people to celebrate Baisakhi festival collectively all over the world.
