Run for unity , Ludhiana marathon will starts from Basti Jodhewal Chowk towards Sunder Nagar - Grewal

BJP Kisan Morcha National Secretary and Member Iron collection committee Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal said tomorrow, on 15 December 2013 at 09:00 am the Ludhiana marathon starts from Basti Jodhewal Chowk, Ludhiana towards Sunder Nagar under the worthy Leadership of Sh. Kamal Sharma State President BJP Punjab. Grewal said that he will also join this marathon at Basti Jodhewal Chowk, Ludhiana with large number of BJP Rural youth and workers. Grewal stated that People from nearly 1,000 locations in the country are likely to take part in the ‘Run for Unity’. Addressing presspersons at Ganga Nand Sports tournament Shamgarh, Samrala in ITI college ground's today Grewal said that ‘Run for Unity’, a marathon, will be held at the same time for the same purpose on December 15, the death anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. He said that initially, it was estimated to conduct the run in 565 destinations in the country. But going by the responses, the number of destinations is likely to cross 1,000 all over the country. Grewal said that the marathon will be inaugurated by Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi in Vadodara. He said that nearly one lakh people are likely to participate in that marathon. He said that students from different schools, colleges, youths, doctors, educationists and members of different NGO's will participate this marathon. Grewal also stated that the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Rashtriya Ekta Trust would build Patel’s statue near Sardar Sarovar Dam. This 182-metre-high ‘Statue of Unity’ will be the world’s tallest statue. Grewal said that as a part of this campaign, old farming tools and the sample of the soil of the village will be collected from all the villages across India. He said that the farming tools will be used to construct the statue.

the northern region workshop on Statue of Unity – 182 mts high statue of Iron Man of India Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel – was held at the auditorium of sector 37-A at Law Bhawan in Chandigarh. At village Jargari, Ex- Sarpanch Baldev Singh Jargari's residence, talking with Daily Ajit correspond, BJP Kisan Morcha National Secretary and Member Iron collection committee of Punjab Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal said told that in that workshop trained volunteers, upon party workers as well people of society to contribute towards erecting a symbol of unity. He said that it's for harmony, which will also be memorial to the greatest leader Sardar Patel. He said that the ruling Congress had always promoted the Gandhi family and never allowed the likes of legendary Sardar Patel, Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev and others to come forward. Grewal said that their martyrdom's was not cherished due to the first Prime Minister of India Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru not shook hands with foreign powers, thousands of valuable lives in Jammu & Kashmir could have been saved. He said it is due to the Congress policies that the farmer of an agrarian economy is missing from the national agenda and in lieu of feeding the nation he is being ignored. Grewal said that BJP prime ministerial candidate and Chief Minister Gujarat Narendra Modi’s efforts are making it possible for the farmer's issues get National center stage. Grewal said the picture of Sardar Patel was put up in parliament after 40 years of Indian independence due to the initiative of NDA government and now due to BJP’s efforts a huge memorial "Statue of Unity" is being built in his memory. He said that Statue of Unity was an apolitical project, which aims at binding India into a harmony for development, the feeling of belongingness and self respect is important. Grewal said that the Statue of Unity will give these feelings to the people of nation. He said that this initiative of Narendra Modi has taken form of a campaign. National Secretary BJP Kisan Morcha Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal terming the claims of the contest Narendra Modi-versus-Rahul Gandhi, in the 2014 Lok-Sabha elections as ridiculous. Grewal said that it's like saying that there is a contest between a mole and a mountain. In a press statement here today, Grewal said that Rahul has no experience in politics and governance, while Modi has both in abundance. He said that Congress has several leaders better than Rahul, but the congress party does not promote them. Grewal said that the Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Delhi elections would play important roles during the 2014 Lok Sabha polls. He said that our party BJP would get the honour of shaping the country fortunes under Narendra Modi's leadership. He said that people of Country are prepared by their Heart's for vote in favour of BJP and they wants that Narendra Modi should also get ready to play a major role for the country. Grewal also claimed that the party would get more seats than projected by exit polls and form the government with a huge mandate. Addressing presspersons here today Grewal said that ‘Run for Unity’, a marathon, will be held at the same time for the same purpose on December 15, the death anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. He said that initially, it was estimated to conduct the run in 565 destinations in the country. But going by the responses, the number of destinations is likely to cross 1,000 all over the country. Run for Unity - Today Gujarat education minister and volunteers of Citizens for Accountable Governance (CAG) train volunteers for Iron and soil collection at Chandigarh - Grewal

BJP Kisan Morcha National Secretary and Member Iron collection committee of Punjab Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal said that today a workshop of all the volunteers for Marathon "Run for Unity" and also involved in collecting iron, mud  along with sarpanch photo be held today 9th December 2013 at Law Auditorium, Sector 37, Chandigarh. He said all these volunteers will collect Iron and mud from north Indian states including Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Union Territory Chandigarh. In a press statement here today, Grewal said that Bhupendra Singh chudasama Gujarat education minister, Om Prakash Dhankar National Convenor Loha Campaign, Jagtar Singh Saini, Jatinder Singh Atwal President Kisan Morcha Punjab and volunteers of Citizens for Accountable Governance (CAG) will train the volunteers for Iron and soil along with sarpanch snap collection from villages. Grewal said that in order to impart training and to acquaint the members with the collection of iron and soil for the Statue of Unity , the whole country had been divided into seven zones. He said the workshop in respect of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand would be held at Lucknow on December 10. He said that all members of the state committees and the district co-coordinators’ would participate today workshop.
