Grewal demanded CBI Intervention in shooting of RSS leader Jagdish Gagneja

National Secretary, BJP Party Kisan Morcha Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal today demanded time bound CBI Intervention from Shri Narendra Modi Hon'ble Prime Minister and Shri Rajnath Singh Hon'ble Home Minister Government of India in shooting of RSS Punjab Deputy Chief Jagdish Gagneja voicing his concerns on the SIT assembled for investigation. Grewal said the same SIT was assembled to investigate Behbal Kalan police firing incident and it never beared any positive result till date so what could you possibly expect in this case ? Grewal strongly condemned the incident on RSS Punjab vice-president Jagdish Gagneja was shot at in Jalandhar last night. Grewal further pointed out the series of deadly acts previously carried out by the mafia in Punjab in which Mata Chand Kaur of Namdhari samaj was shot from close range at bhaini Sahib and a few weeks later a convoy of Sikh preacher Sant Ranjit Singh Dhadrianwale Parmeshardwar was attacked and in which his close was shot dead. Grewal said the state of security of life in Punjab was at its lowest and it didn’t look like it would get better. Grewal said Brigadier Jagdish Gagneja was a national hero and fought wars for his country. “He is a brave heart and this act won’t deteriorate his love for India and Punjab. Grewal told that a team under the leadership of Dr Jaspal from DMC Ludhiana reached late last night and the operation was conducted under their guidance at Jalandhar. Now he is in DMC Ludhiana and his condition is stated to be critical. He said that we all pray for their early recovery. Grewal said the state of law and order was bad in Punjab, adding that various crime incidents being organised by the mafias in Punjab hinted at political patronage of these organised criminals gangsters groups.

Grewal said the state of Law and Order in Punjab is in shambolic state and one after one acts of crime by organised mafia of Punjab hints at political patronage of these organised criminals groups. National Secretary BJP Kisan Morcha Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal said that today Yoga Day cut across the barriers of international borders and was celebrated with great fervour across the globe on Tuesday with more than 135 countries joining the celebrations. Talking with the media persons after Yoga at Guru Nanak Stadium Ludhiana Grewal stated that Indian scholars believe yoga dates back 5,000 years, based on archaeological evidence of poses found inscribed on stones and references to Yogic teachings in the ancient Hindu scriptures of the Vedas. Grewal said that every section of the society supported Yoga. He said through the United Nations, International Yoga day is being celebrated throughout the world. The whole world supported it whether it was developed or developing nations. Grewal stated that there are several days celebrated by UN, including World Cancer Day, World Health Day, World Mental Health Day, and several others. He said that in the field of sports, there are several days which are celebrated. But this (IDY) is the only, which has direct relation with health and also with physical, mental and social health. He said that we think this speaks about the power of this heritage, identity of this heritage which was given by our ancestors. Grewal stated that the news from our National Capital more than 10,000 people gathered at Central Park in the heart of Connaught Place and the circular road around it. It's make one of the largest yoga shows in the city. Grewal said that Political leaders, police and paramilitary officials, teachers, school students, Government employees, as well as volunteers from NGO's performed the yoga postures on mats rolled out on the lawns. He told that sessions were also held around the world, including at the Sydney Opera House, where colourful mats were spread outside the Australian landmark, while Afghans and foreigners gathered at the Indian embassy in Kabul. He said that world was celebrating International Yoga Day by rising above religion. Grewal said that we all Indians feel proud that with the efforts of our Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi India became the first country to spread yoga as 21 June International Yoga day across the world.

Grewal raise issue of cops' promotions Chandigarh police.

Chandigarh: 13 June 2016 -
BJP Kisan Morcha took up the matter of promotion of Chandigarh police inspectors with MHA and sent a letter to Union minister of home affairs Rajnath Singh and Union minister of state for home affairs Kiren Rijiju on Monday. National secretary of BJP Kisan Morcha Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal has sought immediate intervention of both central ministers urging them to save Chandigarh police inspectors, who are not being given their rights of promotion, and being ignored by Chandigarh administration.
The detailed letter highlighted more than a dozen points narrating eligibility of Chandigarh police inspectors and reportedly biased attitude of Chandigarh administration towards them. At present, four inspectors including Dilsher Singh Chandel, Udaypal Singh, Jaswinder Singh and Amrao Singh are awaiting their promotion to the rank of DSP.
On June 2, Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) had refused to vacate the stay orders against its earlier order stopping local administration to fill vacant posts of DSPs with officers of other cadres on Thursday. The CAT also instructed local administration to dispose of representation of four police inspectors, who are struggling to get their rights of promotion on the rank of DSP, within next three months.
In his letter to MHA, Grewal stated that about six posts of DSPs are vacant with Chandigarh police and more than 10 police inspectors of Chandigarh police are eligible for getting the promotion. However, instead of promoting these eligible inspectors, senior police officers, who are included AGMUT and Punjab cadre IPS officers, are preferring to bring DSPs from other states including Punjab, Haryana and DANIPS cadre from Delhi.
The preference of DSPs from other states is has already causing resentment among eligible police inspectors of Chandigarh police, who decided to challenge this process in CAT. Sources in police headquarters said, "A recently-transferred IPS officer had submitted a draft plan of hiring DSPs on deputation from other states with Chandigarh administration. In the plan, the officer recommended 11 DSPs from DANIPS in Delhi, three from Punjab, two from Haryana and made recommendation of promoting seven inspectors of Chandigarh police on the rank of DSPs." On January 4, four inspectors were promoted to the post of DSPs by Chandigarh administration. The inspectors who have been promoted to the rank of DSP include Ram Gopal, Devinder Sharma, SPS Sondi and Kewal Krishan.
