Denmark also ranks as having the world's highest social mobility - Grewal
Denmark , Copenhagen : 22 February 2015 -
Denmark also ranks as having the world's highest social mobility, a high level of income equality, and has one of the world’s highest per capita incomes. National Secretary BJP Kisan Morcha and Prabhari Himachal Pradesh, Advocate Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal who is on a European Tour of Denmark, Italy and Norway landed here in Denmark and immediately presided over a huge gathering of Indians and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Denmark wing. He thanked everybody for this wonderful reception. Grewal praised the beautiful country of Denmark for providing such great working atmosphere for Indians immigrants who are living happily in the country. It is known that Some 7,000 Indians live in Denmark and the number is growing as Denmark has introduced an attractive Green Card system. Grewal was impressed by the living standards maintained by the country as it is known as the happiest country in the world. Denmark also ranks as having the world's highest social mobility, a high level of income equality, and has one of the world’s highest per capita incomes. For 2013, Denmark is listed 15th on the Human Development Index and 9th on the inequality-adjusted HDI. He added there is so much for India to learn from Denmark and the positives from the society and governance can surely prove good for India too. India’s relations with Denmark have been frozen since 2011 following the Danish High Court ruling against the extradition of Kim Davies in connection with the Purulia arms drop incident of 1995. In a rare display of anger, India then run by the UPA goverment then chaired by Ms Sonia Gandhi froze senior official-level contacts with Denmark, and later tightened visa procedures for Danish tourists and businessmen. Grewal questioned the illogical step taken by the UPA goverment and It is timely to reassess the situation and ask whether it meets our vital interests or not. Grewal added that there are some diplomatic tensions arisen between the two countries because of a single person, discussing this further Grewal questioned the Danish goverment stance on not letting India interrogate Kim Davies in connection with the Purulia arms drop incident of 1995. He said a terrorist has no religion,he represents no country and the laws are same for all the terrorist all around the world. Grewal urged his Danish counterparts to allow Kim Davies to be interrogated and this will also unveil some other players and institutions involved in puralia arms drop case . He also stressed that the rights of the Kim Davies will not be violated and his integrity won't be harmed till the time he is not proven guilty. He said denmark have taken a step towards reviving diplomatic friendship as India got admitted as a permanent observer to the Arctic Council along with China, Italy, South Korea, Japan and Singapore. This will enable India to participate in developing the resources of the Arctic. The decision required the consent of the ‘Arctic eight’ consisting of Canada, Denmark, Sweden, Iceland, Norway, Finland, Russia and the US. Denmark, which could very well have stalled India’s application citing bilateral issues, did not do so. He is hopeful Danish goverment will not disappoint in India's pursuit of Kim Davies also. Grewal also cited the healthy trade ties with which Denmark has been a good cooperation partner for India in the EU. It has espoused a liberal trading system and is open to service trade liberalisation. Trade has gone up to $1.2 billion in 2011 from $500 million in 2003, with surplus in India’s favour. Trade in services is also substantial, around $1.5 billion in 2012. FDI of $780 million came in 2011 from Denmark. Though the trade between the two countries have been steady over the few years but showing signs of political optimism Grewal announced that the working conditions in India are way better as compared to the previous UPA regime and now the prime ministers visionary goverment have restored the investors confidence in India. Grewal said that the United Nations also declared June 21 as the World Yoga Day. The decision, taken at the UN General Assembly, is being seen as a proud moment for India. Talking with the media persons after BJP workers meeting here today Grewal stated that our Hon'ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi had urged the world community to celebrate Indian yoga at the international level during his visit to the United Nations in September this year. Grewal told here that India received support of 170 nations and United Nations declare June 21 as the World Yoga Day. He stated that in their speech at the UNGA, Hon'ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi had said, "Let us work towards adopting an International Yoga Day. Yoga is an invaluable gift of our ancient tradition. It is not about exercise but to discover the sense of oneness with yourself, the world and the nature." He told that around 170 nations supported PM Modi's proposal. In November, European Union President Mr. Herman Van Rompuy told Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi that the 28 member EU supported his idea for a Yoga Day at the UN. Grewal said that about four months ago, Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi had appealed to the world community that India's yoga should be celebrated as World Yoga Day. Grewal said that I am happy to inform you that India have received support of 170 nations and the United Nations will declare June 21 as the World Yoga Day". Grewal told that Yoga is the 5000 years old Indian physical, mental and spiritual practice that aims to transform body and mind for good health. In this meeting with the party workers of Bharatiya Janata party (BJP) and people of Indian origin Grewal firstly thanked everyone for inviting him to this historical country.

BJP Jammu and Kashmir should be ready to face very sad BJP-SAD type coalition - Grewal
Kathua : 10 March 2015
BJP should be treated as equals in J&K or be they should be ready to face very sad BJP-SAD type of coalition in Punjab. National Secretary BJP Kisan Morcha and Prabhari Himachal Pradesh, Advocate Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal urged the awam of Jammu and Kashmir to stand against the dictatorial rule of Chief Minister Mufti Mohammed Sayeed who is misusing his political authority over the states of Jammu and Kashmir. Talking with the media persons here today Grewal strongly condemned the release of separatist Masarat Alam and blamed the Chief Minister for playing with the security of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. Grewal urged workers of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to raise there voice against this shameful act or else they will also face similar consequences the way Bharatiya Janata Party workers face in BJP-SAD Coilation in Punjab where they suffer everyday. Grewal reminded SAD would never ever come to power had BJP not supported them and the same goes for the PDP-BJP Goverment of Jammu and Kashmir. So it's right time PDP in Jammu and Kashmir and SAD in Punjab to show some serious respect for the Bharatiya Janata Party and its workers as this would help serve the states better. The matter in question caught Indians by surprise when Jammu and Kashmir Government released dreaded Kashmiri separatist leader Masarat Alam who has dozens of cases including waging of war against India . Alam spearheaded stone-pelting agitations between 2008 and 2010, was brought out of Baramulla district jail where he was handed over to his family members, . His release follows the order of Chief Minister Mufti Mohammed Sayeed, who after taking over the reins of PDP-BJP coalition Government on March one, had directed that all political prisoners be freed from jail. When it was pointed out that there were only a few including Masarat Alam, who was arrested earlier as a political prisoner but later his alleged involvement was found in other cases leading to slapping of section 121, the Chief Minister ordered his release without even consenting BJP there alliance partner. Alam, whose Muslim League is a constituent of hardline Hurriyat Conference headed by Geelani, was arrested for his alleged role in fuelling anti-national protests during the agitations that left more than 120 persons dead and thousands others injured. The separatist leader rose to prominence during the Amarnath land row in 2008. He was arrested in September 2008. This policy is an insult to the security forces, Indian Army and the nationalist people of Jammu , Kashmir. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers even staged a protest here against the release of Hurriyat leader Mashrat Alam and Grewal urged Bharatiya Janata Party Jammu and Kashmir to further stage mass protest as it is a question of National Security. By releasing Alam, Chief Minister Sayeed has once again risked alternating its ally BJP. He had earlier stoked a major controversy with his remarks that Pakistan and militants had facilitated the smooth Assembly elections in the state. Grewal said This is utter Insult to the security forces, Indian Army and the nationalist people of Jammu and Kashmir.

Punjab BJP Leader Grewal visit Parliament House Norway with Hadia Tajik MP Labour Party.
Norway , Oslo : 22 February 2015 -
Punjab BJP Leader Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal today visit in Parliament House with Hadia Tajik Member of Parliament for the Labour Party representing Oslo in Norway. Hadia Tajik is also a Pakistani-Norwegian jurist, journalist and politician, Advocate Grewal who is on a European Tour of Denmark, Italy and Norway landed here in Norway. Grewal felt so honoured to visit Norway as India shares special ties with this country. Historically, Norway being the very first countries to recognize India’s independence, Our diplomatic relations date back to 1952 and Norway’s very first international development cooperation in India was within fisheries in Kerala in the 50’s. Grewal said he knew Norway is the cleanest country in the world and he wants to know how Norway keeps itself clean, eco friendly and maintains its fast pace of development at the same time. While addressing the gathering Grewal told that Indian Prime Minister Shree Narendra Modi has launched a state drive called "Swach Bharat Abhiyan" which means Clean india drive. This is a one of a kind move initiated by the prime minister on a large scale covering almost all parts of the country. India should definitely learn from Norway . Grewal said he initially wondered where did the whole garbage and waste go? On meeting with locals and reserching, Grewal found out that Norway produce clean energy from garbage. For a country blessed with bountiful oil supplies, it may appear incongruous. Grewal said he heard that Norway is importing as much rubbish as it can get its hands on, in an effort to generate more energy by burning waste in vast incinerators. He said Norway is unique when it comes to producing clean energy at low cost which is one thing India lags behind. Being the world's sixth largest hydropower producer, norway is one of very few industrialized nations meeting the domestic electricity demand almost exclusively through this clean and renewable source. Another major benefit Grewal points out is supplying electricity consumption with domestic and clean renewable energy is that this allows to export almost all of norways oil and gas production. Thus, it increase the state’s revenues and secure energy independence. These price signals are important also for incentivizing energy efficiency and stimulate other climate-friendly solutions. Grewal added New indian goverment chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi excepts Norway to lead india in producing clean energy. Norwegian goverment and private companies should use India as a market for there clean energy producing infrastructure and India have abundance of renewable and enerjy producing garbage at its disposal which can be used for production of clean energy. The overall Indo-Norwegian cooperation covers wide areas such as energy and climate change, energy, environment and biodiversity, clean technologies, geohazards, health, gender, local governance, culture, and business. Our partnership is founded on mutual interests and respect. It is in the self-interest of both countries that we work together to solve the global challenges in inter-related areas such as energy, environment and climate change. Grewal welcomes the idea of Norwegian goverment who chose India as the host of the “Norway Asia Business Summit 2015”, which will be held on 16,17,18 April 2015 in New Delhi, Grewal said this illustrates the important role India has as a business partner in the region. Grewal said the indian goverment will take the already existing good ties to another level. Grewal also visit Parliament House Oslo Norway , The Storting building (Norwegian: Stortingsbygningen) is the seat of the Storting, the parliament of Norway, located in central Oslo. It is located at Karl Johans gate 22 and was taken into use on 5 March 1866, and was designed by the Swedish architect Emil Victor Langlet. In Parliament House Norway here, Grewal honoured by Hadia Tajik Member of Parliament for the Labour Party representing Oslo in Parliament House Norway. Grewal will not disappoint Italian's as Edvige Antonia Albina Maino alias Sonia Gandhi princess Luciana.
Italy ( Lusiana, Veneto ) 24 February 2015 -
Grewal will not disappoint Italian's as Edvige Antonia Albina Maino alias Ms.Sonia Gandhi the princess of Luciana did. National Secretary BJP Kisan Morcha and Prabhari Himachal Pradesh, Advocate Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal who is on a final day of European Tour . The three country your finally comes to an end in Italy today. Grewal thanked everyone for making his stay a pleasant one. Grewal declared and promised to all Indians who live in Italy "this friend of yours from Bhukhari Kalan a village in ludhiana district of Punjab, India and we will not disappoint them as your Edvige Antonia Albina Maino alias Ms.Sonia Gandhi the princess of Luciana did", who should have atleast addressed there feelings and demands but as we all know she barely has time for political affairs because she stays too busy spoon feeding Mr Rahul Gandhi. The Indians residing in Italy questions Edvige Antonia Albina Maino, an Italian, re-christened as Sonia Gandhi, commitment towards Indians residing in her birthland Italy who were ignored completely when UPA goverment was in power. Grewal presiding over his last meeting of his European tour was deeply touched by the level of expectations every indian living in Italy expects from Indian goverment , Indian Italians demand quick trial of the two Italian marines who were taken into custody On 15 February 2012, Italian Navy marines operating as "privately contracted armed guards" on-board an Italian-flagged commercial oil tanker MT Enrica Lexie , opened fire in direction of an approaching fishing boat and caused the deaths of two Indian fishermen.
BJP Leader Grewal said the matter is sub judice with hon' Supreme Court of India and at the same time it should not hamper the diplomatic and overall relations of the two countries. Listening to the representatives of Hindu union Grewal pointed out from one of there speakers, "Italy and India are two great countries with extraordinary cultural, religious similarities rich of an ancient wisdom that continues to live in time, precipitates appear in a bind in which life and man appear excluded. Orbit of the law that purports to build a world of their own, in its own right, in which although legitimate discussion of sovereignty, jurisdiction and competence has of fact given the neglect of merit and the higher meaning of the concept of Justice and as we remember the Mahabharata saying "there is no justice higher than truth". So maybe we should go back to the truth of the facts of that 15th February 2012 albeit in the reconstruction made of them by the Indian police so as summarised in the decision in May 2012 court of Kerala. Now those events both in the Indian Penal than in Italian may possibly set up a liability for manslaughter, due to a possible erroneous representation of a real threat to an alleged act of piracy. But there is no doubt the same findings of fact operated by the local police that there was in the work of the Italian soldiers criminal action intentionally directed to cause the death of the two Indian fishermen, which are always present in the prayers of the Hindus Italian. Now, the penalty established for this offense man slaughter never exceed both in Italy and in India five years in India is known the principle legislation under which, on remand, the lawful custody staff may never exceed half the sentence comminabile. These considerations lead us to conclude that, obviously, Salvatore Girone and Massimiliano La Torre after spending two years and half under the deprivation of liberty would already free only if their condition was assessed serenely light of the criminal justice systems of both countries. We know that in countries of high civilization entity such as Italy and India, political and judicial order are obviously separated. We are the equally aware, however, that a green policy or even its declared". Grewal today visited the Lusiana, Veneto, Italy born place of Edvige Antonia Albina Maino, an Italian, re-christened as Sonia Gandhi. In this village a memorandum given there in favour of Salvatore Girone and Massimiliano La Torre. At this time Itlay BJP President Shri Satish Kumar Joshi, Shri Surender Kumar Asand, Shri Sandeep Talhan, Shri Ashok Kumar Talhan and Amandip Singh was with him. Grewal said that he is feeling very proud that his has come from his village Bhukhari Kalan, Ludhiana, Punjab, India to Ms. Sonia's village Lusiana, Veneto, Italy. Upon hearing this Grewal said he feels proud to be an Indian and was so moved to see the loyalty which Italian Indians are showing towards Italy . He said no one else can show this degree of loyalty and promised his voice will there's when he will land in New Delhi.

Union Budget is Pro Poor it will pave way for Development and growth of the Country - Grewal
Ludhiana : 1 March 2015 -
National Secretary BJP Kisan Morcha and Prabhari Himachal Pradesh, Advocate Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal has heaped praised on Hon'Finance Minister of India Shree Arun Jaitley for providing India with a genuine and achievable targets present in Union of India Budget 2015. Grewal emphasised that the Union Budget is Pro Poor and it will pave way for Development and growth of the Country in the long run.
Grewal said the opposition should not mislead the country as they have already done the damage in the last six decades and the Finance Minister had a major reconstrution job in his hands and Budget is step taken in the right direction . Grewal praised the Union Budget 2015 and said this Budget is one that put boosting growth and slowing the pace of fiscal deficit cuts and seeking to put domestic and foreign capital to work. An assumption of a 13 percent nominal GDP growth is not unrealistic and very much achievable. He says it is based on the assumption that growth from agriculture will be much higher and the economy will revive, so manufacturing as well as services should do much better. Grewal explained a good Budget will be one that is realistic, with not too many claims and sticking to the fiscal deficit target of 3.6 percent, at the same time releasing funds for constructive spending. The government seems determined to ensure we build much stronger social security systems for ourselves evidenced by the increased focus on retirement planning. By incentivizing an additional Rs 1 lakh per annum towards retirement investments he's probably going to facilitate the twin objectives of channelizing people's savings into funds available for long term projects and giving the NPS, a shot in the arm. For the taxpayer, the benefit is clear - assuming a 7 percent per year net return on the Rs 1 lakh per annum savings, the Finance minister is helping today's 40 year olds build an additional corpus of Rs. 40 lakhs when they turn 60 this is a huge sign of relief for the old and I personally feel this will enhanc their financial security and there livelihood in later years of life. Grewal said another area of major concern for taxpayer of india is Personal health insurance and it is increasingly, becoming a real need. The increased Rs. 10,000 tax rebate for health insurance effectively means that a family of 4, for example with it's eldest member, at 45 years of age, can increase it's total family health insurance from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 20 lakh for as little as Rs 7000 net, more per year. This is timely and a very welcome change.
Grewal reassured that Budget would reignite the stalled growth. He said though the budget showed no sign of Big Bang reforms and that is a plus point as these big bang reforms are also not desirable because they have a higher chance of rollback and they have serious repercussions on the indian economy aa a whole.
