BJP Jammu and Kashmir should be ready to face very sad BJP-SAD type coalition - Grewal

Kathua : 10 March 2015
BJP should be treated as equals in J&K or be they should be ready to face very sad BJP-SAD type of coalition in Punjab. National Secretary BJP Kisan Morcha and Prabhari Himachal Pradesh, Advocate Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal urged the awam of Jammu and Kashmir to stand against the dictatorial rule of Chief Minister Mufti Mohammed Sayeed who is misusing his political authority over the states of Jammu and Kashmir. Talking with the media persons here today Grewal strongly condemned the release of separatist Masarat Alam and blamed the Chief Minister for playing with the security of the people of Jammu and  Kashmir. Grewal urged workers of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to raise there voice against this shameful act or else they will also face similar consequences the way Bharatiya Janata Party workers face in BJP-SAD Coilation in Punjab where they suffer everyday. Grewal reminded SAD would never ever come to power had BJP not supported them and the same goes for the PDP-BJP Goverment of Jammu and Kashmir. So it's right time PDP in Jammu and Kashmir and SAD in Punjab to show some serious respect for the Bharatiya Janata Party and its workers as this would help serve the states better. The matter in question caught Indians by surprise when Jammu and Kashmir Government released dreaded Kashmiri separatist leader Masarat Alam who has dozens of cases including waging of war against India . Alam spearheaded stone-pelting agitations between 2008 and 2010, was brought out of Baramulla district jail where he was handed over to his family members, . His release follows the order of Chief Minister Mufti Mohammed Sayeed, who after taking over the reins of PDP-BJP coalition Government on March one, had directed that all political prisoners be freed from jail. When it was pointed out that there were only a few including Masarat Alam, who was arrested earlier as a political prisoner but later his alleged involvement was found in other cases leading to slapping of section 121, the Chief Minister ordered his release without even consenting BJP there alliance partner. Alam, whose Muslim League is a constituent of hardline Hurriyat Conference headed by Geelani, was arrested for his alleged role in fuelling anti-national protests during the agitations that left more than 120 persons dead and thousands others injured.  The separatist leader rose to prominence during the Amarnath land row in 2008. He was arrested in September 2008. This policy is an insult to the security forces, Indian Army and the nationalist people of Jammu , Kashmir. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers even staged a protest here against the release of Hurriyat leader Mashrat Alam and Grewal urged Bharatiya Janata Party Jammu and Kashmir to further stage mass protest as it is a question of National Security. By releasing Alam, Chief Minister Sayeed has once again risked alternating its ally BJP. He had earlier stoked a major controversy with his remarks that Pakistan and militants had facilitated the smooth Assembly elections in the state. Grewal said This is utter Insult to the security forces, Indian Army and the nationalist people of Jammu and Kashmir.
