National BJP Leader from Punjab Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal seeks probe on missing intel file about terrorist movement. Talking with the media persons here today Grewal demanded that an independent agency should probe why a file of the central intelligence agencies about terrorist movement in the state did not reach the Punjab Police. Grewal questioned how such an important file could go missing. Grewal said that an alert was sounded on the issue 10 days before the Dinanagar terrorist attack. BJP leader was referring to a statement made by National Security Adviser Ajit Doval who twice said the state had been alerted 10 days in advance. On whether he implied that Punjab Police DGP Sumedh Singh Saini was lying about not having received the file, he said it's a very serious matter. Where did the file vanish ? That is why I am asking for a thorough probe so that the offices of all concerned including Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister, be questioned and the guilty be made accountable for a serious security lapse in the state of Punjab.
