Grewal condemned killing of two people protesting against sacrilege of Holy Bir

New Delhi : 14 October 2015 -
National Secretary BJP Kisan Morcha Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal today strongly condemned the killing of two people who were peacefully protesting against sacrilege of the Holy Bir ( Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji ), in the alleged police firing near Kotkapura. Grewal regretted that instead of identifying the culprits for the sacrilegious act and bringing them to the book, the Punjab Government led by Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and Home Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal has killed and injured the innocent Sikh protestors with hurt feelings over what had happened and they were protesting against. Grewal said that in this way the situation in Punjab is going from bad to worse, which is a very serious matter for everybody in this State. He said that Punjab is sensitive state, as the people of this state has already bore the brunt of violence for around two decades. Grewal strongly condemned the incident regarding sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib and demanded strict action against the guilty as the earliest. While expressing grief over the Kotkapura incident Grewal appealed people of the Punjab State to maintain peace and communal harmony. He said that the people of Punjab has earned peace by giving so many sacrifices but certain anti-nation forces are determined to again disturb its peace and were making efforts to put another black spot on the face of the State.

Dinanagar attack: Grewal seeks resignation from Punjab Police Intelligence chief Hardeep Dhillon

Phagwara : 10 October 2015
National BJP Leader from Punjab Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal seeks resignation  from Punjab Police Intelligence. Grewal seeks probe on the measures taken by Punjab Police Intelligence chief Hardeep Dhillon regarding the Intel received from Intelligence Bureau two weeks prior to the Dinanagar Attacks. Talking with the media persons here today Grewal demanded that an independent agency should probe the Punjab Police state Intelligence Chief as he yesterday admitted that there were inputs from Intelligence Bureau two weeks prior to the incident quoting him " As far as this attack is concerned we forwarded inputs to our Districts. The alert did not mention any terror attack only Infiltration." Grewal took a swipe at the Punjab Police intelligence chief " Was the intelligent intelligence chief Hardeep Dhillon expecting the infiltrators to arrive with bouquet of flowers?" Grewal said just because of unconcerned nature of one Police official so many lost there lives. Previously it was mentioned that the file regarding the attacks went missing from the department. Grewal then questioned how such an important file could go missing. " is this some kind of joke."Grewal said . BJP leader was referring  a statement made by National Security Adviser Ajit Doval who twice said the state had been alerted two weeks in advance. Now was Punjab Police Intelligence chief lying about not having received the file earlier ? Then the file went missing? Now the file never mentioned terror attack just a terrorist intrusion ? The continuosly changing statements makes this whole questionable .Grewal  said it's a very serious matter. That is why I am asking for a thorough probe so that the offices of all concerned be questioned and the guilty be made accountable for a serious security lapse in the state of Punjab.
