Grewal demands Judicial inquiry in Gurmeet Singh "Pinky" claims on Punjab Police.

Ludhiana:
National Secretary BJP Kisan Morcha Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal labelled the claims made by Pinky in his various interviews as a blot on Human rights and he called for a fair judicial inquiry into the claims. Grewal said political parties should not use this for there political TRP but they should genuinely try to unite against the hedious crimes which took place during those days. As per the claims made by Pinky in his interviews there are substantial evidence regarding punjab police personnel who are jailed in various jails in punjab. Grewal said that whosoever lost there family members and in some cases whole families were massacred know how it feels to loose someone. Sikhs were killed, Hindus, Sikhs were killed and there were so many cases of policemen being killed so overall whole of punjab suffered during those days . Grewal urged political parties to come together for a common cause, he said it's no point blaming congress and Indira Gandhi for there involvement in the growth of terrorism in Punjab but now everybody should form a common front so that the acts of such inhuman nature don't go unaccounted.
Grewal said role of Punjab police shall never go unnoticed in overcoming terrorism but on hearing the recorded statements of pinky one develops a feeling that it was the constable and head constable ranked personnel who showed great valour and courage and even there bravery and nationalism went un noticed as the perks were collected by there senior officials. Grewal further stated that not every senior police official in those days was corrupt but the ones who were shall not go unpunished.
Grewal further stated the rampant corruption taking place in Punjab Police and individually signalling out Punjab Police Intelligence Wing which pinky claims have mismanaged a fund of INR 20 crores per year which stands out at a staggering about INR 20 crore per year for many years back from Government. Grewal said people of Punjab and India have the right to know where there hard earned tax money is actually going and no one should be given political and beaurocratic immunity if held responsible in this case.
