Sh. Arun Singh, National Convenor BJP Investor Cell while addressing the press conference at BJP Office Chandigarh said that UPA govt. has failed on all fronts of the economy. He expressed the concerns of the retrenchments and job cuts, lacs of people/employees has been shown the door, thousands of shops, industries has been close down, crores of rupees of the small investor has been lost in the share market. In the result investors have lost faith in capital market which has turned into casino. Further he expressed his concerns on weakening of rupee, increasing fiscal deficit and declining exports. It appears that the UPA govt. is not concerned in the economy of the country. At present, it appears there is no finance minister with the UPA govt. while country is going into deepest of the recession. There has been contradictions in the statements of ministers of the UPA govt. which reflects depression and lack of confidence in this govt. The BJP investor Cell is organizing Niveshak Sanklap Maha Adhiveshan of delegates from across the country to discuss 11 point agenda of misconceived, misdirected and mismanaged economy by the UPA govt. From the massive Maha Adhiveshan delegates will return to respective states and will convess for the party in the Lok Sabha Elections for the party candidates. Sh. Pradeep Khullar, National Orgnisational Incharge of BJP Investor cell of Punjab and Chandigarh and Sh. Manohar Lal Ji, Zonal General Secretary Organisation BJP discussed about to strong Organisation and party for coming Lok Sabha Elections. Advocate Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal Punjab State BJP Investor Cell Chief, stressed the need to curb terrorism to bring investors aboard. He stated that ever since the inception of BJP State Investor Cell we took the matter at International and National Platforms and managed to get a ban imposed on Chinese Mobile Phones with forged IMEI Numbers. Grewal stated that terrorists continually exploited grim Wi-Fi security in recent terror strikes across India and our persistent activism led Central Government to form a Panel on Wi-Fi Security. We insisted Central Government to design an Integrated Counter-Terrorism Strategy and form a Federal agency on the lines of KGB to counter Terrorism and after persistent advocacy across India Central Government finally formed a federal agency to counter terrorism and counter espionage activities. Grewal stated that BJP Investor Cell is committed to ensure ambient environment for Investors and will continue to make a positive contribution to help investors in these turbulent times.
